Gorham at the Nosework Trial

This weekend we competed in the Products4Pets Sniffin’ Luau PSD Nosework trial. Gorham and I have been working on training for many months. He is not a confident dog, often nervous and doesn’t give clear signals to me on the find and when he does signal, I often have difficulty recognizing it. Last week we competed in a trial and were not successful in any of the hides…but this weekend, Gorham gave me a clear find signal in a container hide that was actually set up OUTSIDE!!! “ALERT” I yelled and the judge said “YES!!” OMG I’m soooo happy for my little Prince. Such a big accomplishment for him.
